Profile

Having left the RAF in 1996 after a quick 25 years service I was given my first lathe and started turning.  It was soon clear that I was destined to be covered in sawdust for the rest of my life.  It began as a hobby but I turned professional in 2001.

I dry my own timber, sometimes taking the tree down myself which gives me the opportunity to select more unusual cuts with which to work.

I like to do all types of turning from natural edge bowls, vases and lamps to more quirky items such as penguins and mice.
I sell most of my work through craft fairs around Norfolk and Suffolk, also having some pieces in a local gallery.  I am now venturing onto the internet so please feel free to browse my Virtual Gallery and look at some of my work.

Any prices quoted include postage and packaging within the UK.  Any items shipped abroad will be quoted for on application.   I also undertake commissions and can be contacted through my contact page or by telephone.
